Charles (Chuck) Hallmark was a big foot researcher for decades. He worked and gathered evidence and experiences very quietly and without a lot of fanfare. He had some notariety such as being the cover story in "Oklahoma Today" magazine and was well known in BF circles.
This delightful and informative book records and reflects the adventures, ideas, thoughts, and information that Chuck wanted to leave to his family and friends. All events are true, all photos are genuine. Chuck respected the power and the intelligence of Big Foot, but saw and found no danger in the creatures he encountered and hoped to leave that image for the world.
Chuck died in 2008 after enjoying 30+ years of interaction with these creatures, gathering foot print molds and fingerprints as well as other evidence. He had great respect and regard for the BF communities, clubs, groups, and individuals out there.

I enjoyed this installment of the book. The author speaks in a level-headed down to earth manner that I really like. He's personable so I want to hear more of the story he has to tell.Having a degree in zoology, I'm always interested in cryptozoology tales wherever I can find them and when someone can share their experience in a way that is interesting convincing and friendly, without shoving myths and hearsay down my throat, I'm all for it.
I like that Chuck shares his accounts and why he thinks they are legit. There are photos and explanations included that allow the reader make their own conclusions about the evidence provided. Because the author expresses himself so well, I'm inclined to believe his experiences.

Big Foot in the Back Yard The Rantings of a Big Foot Crazed Okie! Charles Hallmark Danna G Hallmark Reviews
this book was mediocre at best and way too short.
I am enjoying this series and look forward to the release of Chapter 4. This isn't the most rigorous book on Bigfoot out there, but it is easily the most earnest. It is clear that the author believes what he writes. He is unlikely, however, to change any minds with his "evidence." I particularly enjoy the parts that relate his personal experience - this isn't a rehash of all the well-known BF material. Go ahead and give it a try!
This was an interesting chapter. It included more great pictures and had a very interesting story told by Theodore Roosevelt about two trappers who had a harrowing encounter with what could only be a Bigfoot. I'm anxious to get to Chapter 4.
I believe this series is a series to get you hooked and paying regularly for snip eds of info...Read two and figured out the scam. I don't want to say I'm not interested in what they have to say, but I'm not interested enough to keep paying for fifteen minutes of reading.
Like I said reviewing the second chapter, I was disappointed because it feels like a scam. Read a chapter, pay for another. Hey, put a book together and give those of us who'd like to read what your experiencing or have experienced something more than 10 minutes. At this rate the books going to be hundreds of dollars...scam...
I am not necessarily a believer in Bigfoot, but I also know that there are many things out there in nature that we are just discovering. I'm open to new things and was intrigued by the description of this book, so I decided to start with this one. It is well-written and enjoyable, and I look forward to the rest of the book. I hope the evidence presented lives up to the intro in the first chapter.
Just finished chapter two. The pictures came through to and displayed on a Fire (original) just fine. That doesn't always happen on my Fire.
Some of the evidence for Bigfoot isn't all that convincing, but is no reason to doubt the species existence, and I'm looking forward to chapter three.
I did enjoy lots of the evidence that Chuck presented, and conclusions he reached, like his explanation for the absence of corpses or bones. Makes perfect sense.
All in all, a good little read.
